They say you can tell the difference between a ‘normal’ person and a zero-waster, by the size and contents of their handbag.

My handbag is medium sized, but… it’s often paired with a backpack, hah. I’m on a mission to reduce plastic from my world (and THE world), and Be Vibrant are helping me do just that.

Honeywrap Reusable Food Wraps
Made from organic cotton and beeswax, this was a joy to travel with as a traveller on a budget! It meant I could make food at our little hotel room, and take it with me on the go. I often make my own beeswax wraps, but I’ll be honest… this one sticks together far better than mine, and has lasted way longer (but don’t tell anyone!).

Meals in Steel Food Containers
I’ve had many leaky container experiences… they are not a fun time, to say the least. In my new leak proof container (the large rectangular size FYI), I’ve stored Subway salads, hot curries, stir fries, and had a few wee picnics like the one pictured below. It has yet to fail me, so the ‘leakproof’ container really does live up to it’s word!
My local Indian restaurant knows me now: they expect I’ll rock up with my Meals in Steel container, and I’ll wait patiently for the extra few minutes it takes for them to serve up the curry.
